Here are some Grants and Funding opportunities to support your innovation projects, becoming available from March 2022 onwards.

  1. Financial safety net for Horizon Europe applicants extended
    If you’re a UK-based researcher or innovator, you can apply to most Horizon Europe funding opportunities on the same terms as EU-based applicants. On March 15th, the government announced an extension to the support provided to Horizon Europe applicants launched in November 2021. This ensures that eligible successful UK applicants for grant awards will continue to be guaranteed funding. More details here
  2. Innovation Loans Future Economy Competition – Round 1
    Innovate UK offering up to £25 million in loans to micro, small and medium sized enterprises. Loans are for highly innovative late stage research and development (R&D) projects with the best potential for the future. There should be a clear route to commercialisation and economic impact. Your project must lead to new products, processes or services that are significantly ahead of others currently available or propose an innovative use of existing products, processes or services.   3. Biomedical Catalyst 2022 Round 1: Industry-led R&D
    Innovate UK will invest up to £15 million in projects to support UK registered businesses to develop innovative health or healthcare-focussed products, technologies and processes. Competition opens: Monday 28 March 2022. The Industry-led research and development (R&D) stream of the Biomedical Catalyst programme supports pre-market R&D projects. Applicants must be able to demonstrate existing evidence of commercial and technical feasibility.  More details here
