Today, as much as ever, emerging technologies are driving advances in the way we do business and live our lives. The application of Artificial Intelligence to Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality are improving our quality of life in leaps and bounds.
One such example is the Pokémon GO app. Its innovative and award-winning gameplay dynamics, using augmented reality, improves coordination, brain speed and enhances memory and will influence the design of AR experiences for years to come. Perhaps, more importantly the game could have broader health and social impacts: making it cool for adults to be seen playing the game and for kids to be seen outdoors with their parents again.
Another example is one of ABGI’s clients that has developed an app that allows users to create their own museum at home or wherever you are. Serpentine Galleries and ABGI’s client are working together to bring to life the final large-scale public artwork of Bulgarian born artisit, “The London Mastaba” in augmented reality. Accessible via the app ABGI’s client created, “The London Mastaba AR (Hyde Park)” offers art enthusiasts the opportunity to discover an exact virtual replica of the installation through their mobile phones when they visit the Serpentine Lake.
